New retailers boost city revenue

The ever-changing retail landscape of Bartlesville has provided a dramatic increase in shopping options across the city, while at the same time filling the city’s coffers with additional sales tax revenue.

With the addition of Silver Lake Village Shopping Center and the soon-to-open Dunham’s Sports at Washington Park Mall, the city of Bartlesville’s sales tax revenue continues to improve, a report shows.

According to a financial report for sales tax revenue through January 2018, the city of Bartlesville has collected more than $8.4 million since July 1, 2017, the beginning of the fiscal year.
