SunFest in Bartlesville, OK on May 31st – June 2nd
Bartlesville's SunFest, lovingly known as Oklahoma's biggest outdoor picnic, is a long weekend of relaxed, family-friendly entertainment. Offering a wide range of free entertainment to festival-goers, SunFest features live musical entertainment, a diverse selection of arts and crafts, children's games, storytellers, food and much more. Enjoy the sounds of jazz, rhythm and blues, rock, bluegrass and contemporary Christian music while listening to over 20 individual artists and bands perform on three stages throughout Bartlesville's Sooner Park. All performances are free, so come to SunFest to enjoy the crowd-pleasing summer soundtrack of Green Country.
Another highlight of this summer celebration is the annual SunFest Car Show, where over 200 cars are expected to participate. There is also an annual juried arts and craft show. Vendors and local artists will feature paintings, sculptures, drawings, wearable art, stained glass, wood crafts and wooden toys. In addition, YouthFest features free activities designed specifically for children of all ages. Past activities have included kite making, cookie decorating, face painting, puzzles and a bean bag toss. When you get hungry, visit food vendors offering everything from traditional, down-home favorites to ethnic specialties.
OKM Music Festival in Bartlesville, OK on June 8th – 15th
SunFest is the kickoff for summertime fun with the OKM Music Festival happening right on its heels. This festival features some of the best musicians in Oklahoma and throughout the country. Bartlesville is unique for having stunning concert halls that showcase plays and the symphony throughout the year. During this event, the concert hall at the Bartlesville Community Center takes center stage with additional performances taking place at Ambler Hall, Sooner Park, Silver Lake and the all-time favorite outdoor event at Woolaroc. Enjoy showcase events for the whole family and children's activities, including painting, arts and crafts, and storytelling. Many showcases are free and open to the public.
Woolaroc Kidsfest in Bartlesville, OK on June 29th and June 30th
The sounds and feel of an old-time circus come alive again at Kidsfest. With jugglers, games, pony rides and more, Bartlesville's Woolaroc springs to life in an action-packed weekend featuring endless family fun. Oilman Frank Phillips, known locally as "Uncle Frank," established Woolaroc in 1925 as his country retreat and loved the circus so much he brought it to Bartlesville each year. This wonderful summer event commemorates this Oklahoma summer tradition with games, entertainment and more fun than you would think possible.
